Dr. Kitt is a Board-Certified Acupuncture Physician committed to providing care with exceptional expertise and compassion. She graduated from the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in foreign language, Spanish. She spent 20 years in Research and development in the Aerospace/ Defense industry before deciding to enter the world of natural medicine.
She received both her Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Sciences and her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from East West College of Natural Medicine. She achieved her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Five Branches University in California, specializing in Pain Management and Emotional Wellness.
As a long-time resident of Sarasota, Dr. Kitt attended McIntosh Middle School, Sarasota High School, and graduated from Riverview High School. She has deep roots within the community. This is why she chose to open her practice AcuMed Wellness & Acupuncture in Sarasota where she continues to practice today.
Her concentration of practice is in Pain Management, Facial Rejuvenation, Digestive Issues, Emotional Wellness, and Women’s Health.
